Travelling north from
Brisbane along the Bruce Highway, the sight of the mystical Glasshouse
Mountains heralds the approach to the Sunshine Coast hinterland,
one of the most beautiful and accessible holiday regions in Queensland.
And here you will
find the luxurious and private pavilions of Taman Sari. A tranquil
and romantic sanctuary, tucked into the forest hillside overlooking
the ancient volcanic Blackall Ranges. |

Concealed in a tropical
Asian inspired garden, filled with gingers, heliconias, palms and
exotic bamboo, the two pavilions are separately accessed from the
central courtyard via timber walkways, with entrances framed by ancient
timber doors.
Designed by
Tone Wheeler of Environa Studios, Sydney, each freestanding pavilion
offers stylish, contemporary architecture and elegant spacious
interiors, with panoramic views across the valley.
True luxury in harmony
with nature.
As the sun sets, you
can relax on your deck, enjoy a glass of wine, and reflect on
the beauty and serenity of the range.
After dark the garden
is transformed into an enchanting world of magical lights. Bali
lanterns entice you to take an evening stroll through the garden.

The temperatures on the
range are refreshingly cooler than surrounding areas. In
winter the mountain is often shrouded in mist, followed by cold nights;
perfect weather for relaxing by the fire. |
